KILN BUILD AND WOOD FIRING

We did it! Three years of planning, sourcing materials, site work, and shed building culminated this June, 2025, in a two-week kiln build and firing. Thanks to a grant from the NH Arts Council, my 2022 mentor, master wood-fire potter Simon Levin, and his three apprentices led local and international potters—from Australia, Denmark, Taiwan, India, and across the U.S. — in building and firing a train-style wood kiln. We fired it again in mid-October, this time with a dream team of local potters. This project manifested all my love of pottery and community.
